Re: Music Review

here's my review for some of the new releases

1- Jesse Cook (The Rumba Foundation 2009) 8/10

Jesse comes back with another great album .. this time recorded in Colomia and inspired alot by the Colombian music .. "Boguta by Bus" is one hell of a guitar epic .. I love it .. it's a bit different from Jesse's style that you know and love .. but his hands are as good as ever .. but I still think the Frontiers (2007) was his best album ever

2- Pink Martini (The Splendor in the Grass 2009) 7/10

The long anticipated and awaited album is finally here .. the reviews came before the album was released and they all said this is going to be an amazing album .. and it was .. but I have to say the tracks were rather "too" slow .. and the energy that you loved on "Hey Eugene" (2008) has faded a lot .. also I noticed that the tracks were mostly English and French .. I miss the latino tracks on this one .. but is still a great album

3- Creed (Full Circle 2009) 5/10

Creed are back!! .. what a great surprise .. yet a must .. the break up was terrible for the band and the members .. they were on the peak of their career when they broke up .. and the subsequent bands they created were below the average .. and now they're back .. and there are a couple of great tracks on this new record .. and they are rocking again .. yeah! but in general .. they can do better .. anyway they're back .. and they are on the right track again!

Re: Music Review
sorry man, but regarding Iron Maiden Last Album it didn't came after two failures, in fact their previous two albums " Dance Of Death" and " Brave New World" have many great songs and considered two of their best albums .............all Maiden Songs are Amazing but it's true there is two Albums consider as a failure for maiden and those albums came out when both Bruce and Adrian were not in the band and that also when Blaze Bayley used to be the Vocalist, the Two Albums were : The X Factor (1995)
Virtual XI (1998)

Re: Music Review

I respect what you say .. as I said in the beginning .. all I say in this topic is a personal opinion .. kind of recommending and not recommending music for others

anyway .. I hated Brave New World and the other one which I can't remember it's name .. they were very boring to me .. there was little work on the solos and there was a lot of reptetion .. some track felt like the same you know!

As for the Blaze Baily's phase .. I loved the change they made to their music and to the style in general .. although I believe Bruce is the greatest vocalist of all time .. but I still like both albums and think they were a great success

Thievery Corporation is a Washington, D.C.-based recording artist and DJ duo consisting of Rob Garza, Eric Hilton, and their supporting artists. Their music style mixes elements of dub, acid jazz, reggae, Indian classical, Middle Eastern, and Brazilian (such as bossa nova) with a lounge aesthetic.

Re: Music Review
so are these "music" thingies herb friendly?

it's of utmost importance that they agree to the guidelines set forth by High et al. in the journal hightunes in their great article: gradually up and then down, how to pick the right music for the modern herbal consumer (2006)
