Hi guys
I'm an Australian born Syrian /Arab 20year old girl. I lve in Melbourn, Australia and love this country to bits. But in my heart syria will live and I wish to travel and live in syria one day. i'm currently sudying Health Information Management at University and hope one day to bringmy skills and knowledge to my beautiful arab country and benefit our syrian hospitals and organisations.
We as Syrians, Muslims or christians need to scome together and unite against the other jealous countries that are attacking us.
Allah yehmik ya Bashar Al -Assad, our leader, Allah yehmi Syria and the people who care for it.
Hi Ace!! Thanks for directing me to this website.
Anyone that has info on job prospects in Syria..please make a comment

hello, im a syrian who lives abroad,i love my country very much, although ive never stepped a foot in the country, i was born in northern lebanon and emigrated when i was only fives years of age, no matter ,lebanon as far as im and history is concerned is syria whether they like it or not. now to the current events and the desperate attempt by the bush administration and its aipac cronies in washington hellbent on trying to turn syria into another iraq, the problems they have is that syria is different and more advanced in terms of strategic thinking, lets not forget that under our former glorious president hafez al assad whom i love sincerely, syria was under more extreme pressure than now example israeli invasion of lebanon, internal terrorism, the jordanian kings betrayal, western troops in beirut, saddam sending terror across border and so forth, syria thank god came out victorious back then and with gods plan we wil again, thank you.

ONE OF THE BIGGEST PROBLEM OF THE BULLSHIT AMERICAN GOVERNMENT IS TO BE IGNORANT and not to respect OTHER INTERNATIONAL (GOVERNMENT) OPINION IN THIS WORLD..
and we all should know to defend our religion, country and nation is our HUMAN RIGHT and DUTY at all..but at the same time to respect other religions and nations...

I have read a couple of comments already and i agree with the contructive ones. I would also like to confirm what Hala said in hers about the chat rooms here and how embarassing it is go in there and trying to have a proper conversation. They swear at eachother, they use horrible vocabulary and some don't even know how to spell. As a syrian who lives abroad i would like to point out that we should work a bit harder on ourselves and concentrate more on what builds up a good reputation around the world and not such nonsense.

ASALAMO 3ALA MANI ITABA3A AL HOUDA;
IT IS SO UNFORTUNATE, IT IS SO UPSETING, AND IT IS SHAMFUL TO FIND PEOPLE LIKE THE ONES<<>> SPOKE ABOUT. I JUST WANT TO TELL THOSE PEOPLE, WHOEVER THEY ARE, WHATEVER THIER NATIONALITIES ARE, AND WHATEVER BACKROUNDS THEY HAVE, THAT YOU ARE MAKING SOURIA <<>>LOOK AWFULLY BAD TO OTHERS. THIS IS WHY WE ARE LEFT BEHIND.
IF YOU WONDER MY DEAR FELLOW FRIENDS WHY WE ((SYRIANS&ARABS IN GENERALS)) ARE BEHIND, WHY WE ARE STILL CONSIDERED TO BE IN THE THIRD WORLD, THE ANSWER IS SIMPLY THIER FOR THOSE WHO HAVE OPEN MINDS AND THINK.
LOOK, OUR LAND, OUR COUNTRY IS SO PURE AND INNOCENT, BUT THE IGGNORANT PEOPLE WHO LIVE THIER MAKE IT LOOK BAD, AND SAVAGE LIKE A ZOO AND A FOREST.
I DO NOT CARE WHO GETS AFFECTED OR UPSET BY MY WORDS, FOR THAT I AM AFRAID OF NONE IN THIS LIFE, EXCEPT (((GOD))).
I WANT TO SAY FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO LOOK FOR (((SEX))) ONLINE, AND WHO WANT TO HURT THE INNOCENT DAUGHTERS OF PEOPLE, THAT THERE IS GOD WATCHING YOU, AND REMEMEBR THAT YOU ALSO HAVE SISTERS AND DAUGHTERS AND MOTHERS, SO REMEMEBR AND TELL ME WHAT WOULD YOUR FEELINGS BE, IF SOMEONE THINKS ABOUT THEM IN A SEXUAL WAY, THE SAME WAY YOU IGNORANTS THINK???????
STOP MAKING SOURIA LOOK BAD, STOP MAKING ARABIC COUNTRIES LOOK BAD, STOP MAKING ISLAM LOOK BAD, AND SO OTHER RELIGIONS. STOP MAKING THE WEST AND THE ENTIRE GLOBE MAKE FUN OF US. AND YOU WONDER WHY WE ARE LIKE THIS IN THE MIDDLE EAST?????
THE MIDDLE EAST IS PLAGUED WITH POVERTY, OPRESSION, AND BAD CONDITIONS.
ITS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU PEOPLE..
<<>>
SO PEOPLE PLEASE STOP THIS NON SENSE, AND YOUR SAVAGE STUPID DESIRES, AND CRUEL INTENTIONS, BECAUSE IN THE END THERE IS HELLFIRE WAITING FOR SINNERS LIKE YOU...

i visited ur site by a coincidence. it interests me in the begining, since i'm a syrian girl living outside. youir efforts are really shown; the site, the photos and the articles are very nice. but please allow me to give a small comment about the chating link "guests chat". most of the users are looking for sex. they were asking for an appointments, when they knew that i'm outside damascus they would close the chatting window. so i'm wondering is this the case in syria? is it that easy to find a girl to sleep with?.
i felt really sorry for my country. i felt sorry for these young men and women that their only concern is the sex..
when you name your site in the name of Syria you have a responsibility and a duty to show the proper image of Syria.
our young men and women are much more educated and much more effective. please stop this immorality and let's try all together to work for a better country.

PEACE BE UPON YOU...
I'm a Syrian immigrant. I know how bitter it tastes to live a lifetime away from your country. We (immigrants) have seen the marvels of human civilization in the outside world. We've witnessed the many treacheries of mankind as well. Yet, we pay great respect to the valiant efforts of our fellow Syrian brothers and sisters. They've carried the burden of making our homeland a well-run success for so long. For that, I bring forth good tidings on behalf of all other immigrants who are willing to uphold this message: WE PROMISE TO RETURN WITH KNOWLEDGE ON ADVANCING OUR WAY OF LIFE, COMPROMISING WITH OUR CULTURE, AND BUILDIND A BETTER SOCIETY. SUCH KNOWLEDGE WAS HARD TO COME BY, BUT IT WASN"T A WASTE. I DO NOT DOUBT THE CAPABILITIES AND TALENTS OF MY COUNTRYMATES. THUS, I EXPECT TO FIND THEM READY FOR THE MANY IMPROVEMENTS WE SHALL CONVEY TO THEM, AND I BELIEVE THEY WILL. WE MAY YET HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE OF WORKING TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE THESE PERFECTIONS, LIKE OUR ANCESTORS ONCE DID. SO HANG IN THERE, FOR THE PATH TO GLORY MAY BE OPENED BEFORE US BY ALLAH, ONCE AGAIN.
MAY ALLAH BLESS YOU ALL...
