Al-Karama Ties with Arbil in the Second Leg of AFC Cup

Syria's al-Karama team on Tuesday tied with Iraq's Arbil 1-1 in the match held in Iraq within the second leg of the fifth group of AFC Asian Cup 2011.
Al-Karama scored first through player Nasouh Nakdali at the 36 minute of the match, while Arbil got the draw at 65 minute through its player Mustafa Ahmad.
Earlier, al-Karama drew in the opening match of the group with Omani al-Orouba 2-2 in Homs.
The Syrian team plays in the fifth group which comprises al-Orouba of Oman, Lebanese al-A'ahd and Iraq's Arbil. The two leading teams will go to the next stage.
Syria's al-Ittihad lost 0-2 to Kuwait's al-Qadisiya within the second leg of the AFC Cup competitions, in the match held on Tuesday at Aleppo International Stadium. Al-Ittihad had won over the Yemeni host al-Saqr 2-1 I the first leg.
