Policeman Ahmad Mousa al-Bertawi, who was martyred by extremist terrorist groups while carrying out his duties in Daraa governorate, was laid to rest in the town of Hosh Arab in Damascus Countryside.
The martyred was accompanied by a procession from the Police Hospital in Damascus to his hometown, with the mourners denouncing this crime and affirming that the blood of martyrs protect the country.
Mousa al-Bertawi, the martyr's father, prayed to God to grant the martyrs' families patience and to help Syria to emerge safely out of this crisis.
The martyr's relatives and friends said that Ahmad gave his life for the sake of the country's safety, dignity and independence, while his brother expressed pride in his Ahmad's martyrdom and hoped that these sacrifices will help return normal life and stability to Syria.
Ahmad Mousa al-Bertawi was born in 1987. He left behind a wife and a child. He joined the police in 2009
